Adult Ministries
Christian Education There are two to three adult classes offered during the Sunday School hour at 8:45 a.m. prior to the worship service. Different classes are offered throughout the year. These classes generally align with the Pastor's sermon topics, youth Christian Education topics and/or a general interest subject. The purpose of this ministry is to help participants become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
GRACE Small Groups The GRACE Small Group ministry presents an opportunity for every member of the Grace family to be involved in a personal relationship with others who are part of the Grace Church family. Participating in a small group develops skills, offers encouragement, and equips us for the journey of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The GRACE groups have 6 to 15 people who meet regularly for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, serving others in the group and outside the group, and food. There are many different kinds of groups offered. For a list of small groups, meeting times, and locations ask for a Small Group Guide at the Information Center or contact us today.
Choir Ministry Our Grace Church Choir is made up of women and men who divide up as sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses. Membership in the adult choir is encouraged for people who have reached 8th grade or above. The choir is used as a tool to worship our Lord on Sunday mornings and provides special music from time to time. We also have opportunities to provide special programs on holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
Growing Kids God's Way Class Growing Kids God's Way is a twenty-week long parenting class that generally meets from January through May. The classes are approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours long. Classes are designated for couples or single parents comprising a group of no more than twelve people. This is a very comprehensive class which encompasses topics from marital growth to discipline of children. Participants learn not only what to do as parents, but why to do it. Parents leave the class challenged and confident in their newly acquired Bible based knowledge.
Prayer Ministry Prayer requests and concerns of the Grace Family are brought before the Lord throughout the week. Wednesday is the usual meeting day for weekly prayer meetings. Men meet for prayer Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. for approximately one hour. However, there are other prayer meetings and opportunities like 24-hour prayer vigils held throughout the year. During the first week of January, we have a week of prayer and fasting at which time most meetings and ministries are suspended. Nightly prayer services are held and the week is dedicated to prayer and fasting as we seek the Lord's guidance for the new year.
Women's Ministries Women's Ministry here at Grace endeavors to glorify God and share His love with others through spiritual companionship, fellowship and the recognition of talents, gifts and needs of women of all ages. Please join us for Bible studies, special evening events, women's retreats, crafting opportunities, and encouragement through mentoring. A women's Bible study is offered every Tuesday morning (9:00 - 11:00 a.m.) and occasional afternoon and evening studies are offered. (Please call the church office to learn of current meeting days and times.) The studies vary and are approximately 6-13 weeks in length.

Christian Education Christian Education classes for children from three years old to 8th grade are offered throughout the school year, from September to May, and are held each Sunday morning before the worship service at 8:45 a.m. Teachers use the Faithweaver's curriculum. The purpose of these classes is to teach our children about God and Jesus through Bible teachings, verse memorization, crafts and activities. The children also learn fellowship by being in a small group of their peers.
Kids of Grace (Youth Music Ministry) The Youth Music Ministry is designed to give children 2nd - 8th grade an opportunity to contribute to the Sunday morning worship service through song and drama. Our vision for the Kids of Grace is that this experience to witness and share God's love will help them to grow spiritually, gain self-confidence, and realize the reward of giving their time and energy to the Lord.
Nursery Both an infant (ages infant - 2) and a toddler (ages 2-4) nursery are provided during the worship service. Nursery care is provided during the Christian Education hour on an as needed basis. Historically, volunteers from our church family have served in the nurseries. This ministry enables parents to participate in Christian Education classes and to fully connect with our Lord during the Worship service.
Vacation Bible School Our Vacation Bible School program is held one week every June. The program is designed for children ages 4 year old through 6th grade. Children spend this week learning more about Jesus and the Bible. It is a great time of singing, Bible stories, crafts, games and snacks. The week generally concludes with a special program open to the community on Friday night.
