Al Amana Center

Muscat,Oman

Ministry:  Michael Bos is the director of Al Amana Center, which is a fruit of the mission of the RCA in the Arabian Gulf that began in 1893.  Al Amana Center is an ecumenical center that builds briges of understanding and trust between Christians and Muslims in Oman and the Gulf.

Wayne & Miho Jansen (Manato & Megumu)
Our annual share of support  - $5,800 

Tokyo Union Theological Seminary
Tokyo, Japan

Ministry:  Wayne is a faculty member of the Tokyo Union Theological Seminary.  He teaches Practical Theology and developed the Clinical Pastoral Education Program.  The Jansens are strongly committed to the work of evangelism and feel it is important to get to know people, to accept them wherever they are, and to build a trusting relationship.

Caleb & Joanna Swart (Elsa & Ezra)
Our annual share of support  - $5,800 

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Ministry:  Caleb and Joanna are working with the Daasanech people who are a remote, seminomadic people group.  Caleb is working alongside his father Dick in expanding the windmill project used for irrigation, grinding grain and sharpening tools.  Joanna works with prenatal and immunization clinics.  Together they are working to support a small band of believers and encourage the growth of the Daasanech Christians.

Rowland Jr. & Jane VanEs (Jennifer & Michelle)
Our annual share of support  - $5,800 

St. Paul's United Theological College
Limuru, Kenya, Africa

Ministry:  Rowland & Jane teach at St. Paul's United Theological College.  Rowland teaches students who are preparing for ministry in the bachelor of divinity program or are preparing for a business carer through the bachelor of business administration program.  Jane works with primary health care programs.  She coordinates a program in Christian ministry for spouses of theological students, teaches sociology and psychology to students pursuing a bachelor's degree, and assists with the master of arts program in pastoral care and HIV/AIDS.

Rick & Bobbie Bekius (Derrick, Camilla, Erica, Bryce, & Allysa)
Our annual share of support  - $3,700

Wycliffe Bible Translators
Porto Velho, Brazil, South America

Ministry:  Rick and Bobbie are support personnel for the Wycliffe Center in Porto Velho, Brazil.  Rick works with maintenance of property and they both provide general assistance for village and tribal outreach.  They are presently on furlough and living in Michigan until May of 2008.

Campus Crusade for Christ
Miami University, Oxford, OH

Ministry:  "The mission of Campus Crusade for Christ is to turn students into Christ-centered laborers for a lifetime."  Mark is the director of Campus Crusade on the Miami campus which not only serves that university, but has outreach to nearby universities as well as colleges in other countries.  They are presently establishing a relationship with a University in Rome, Italy.  Diane also works on the CCC staff at Miami University.

Campus Crusade for Christ
University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, WI

Ministry:  Ryan is the Director, responsible for eleven staff members and the overall student ministry of Campus Crusade or Christ in Stevens Point.  Coleen is on the staff of Campus Crusade, and together their key local objective with their ministry is "involved new believers" which is defined as reaching students with the Gospel and then helping them grow in their relationship with God.

Reformed Church in America Urban Ministries
Our annual share of support  - $1,200

Ministry:  Support and ministry to the special needs of churches in the city.  Included in this is the Iglesia de la Trinidad which is an RCA Hispanic Church ministering to Urban Hispanics in South Milwaukee, WI.

Camp Manitoqua Ministry
Our annual share of support  - $750

Ministry:  A camp retreat center located in Frankfort, IL.  Children, youth, and adults from the Wisconsin, Illinois region come for Christian summer camps and retreats and other programs.

Fond du Lac Campus Life/Youth for Christ
Our annual share of support  - $1,200

Ministry:  Reaching kids for Christ in local junior and senior high schools and at the YFC center.

Fond du Lac Habitat for Humanity
Our annual share of support  - $1,200

Ministry:  A non-profit, ecumenical ministry building simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with people in need of shelter.

Missionary Aviation Support Association
Our annual share of support  - $500

Ministry:  This organization provides support for missionaries that come to visit the E.A.A. Air Venture each year in Oshkosh, WI.  MASA assists financially and with such things as housing and food for visiting missionaries.

Adapt A Missionary Project
Grace church invites families, small groups and classes to "adopt a mission family to support through prayer, letters, greeting cards, encouragement and personal visits when possible.

Fresh Start through Youth for Christ
Our annual share of support  - $2,400

Jerry Wallendal, Director

Ministry:  Reaching out to troubled youth with Bible Studies & support programs that seek to help the young person develop a personal relationship with Christ.

Connect Coffee House
Our annual share of support  - $1,200

Ministry:  The Café has been a gathering place for many people, but it is also a laungh pad for the Kingdom of God.  Besides the café, there are Night Worship gatherings, Bible Studies, and Recreation events.  Throughout all of these activities the staff seeks to "be Jesus with skin on" to reflect His love that changes lives.

Short Term Mission Trip Support

Ministry:  The Grace Reformed Mission's Committee provides opportunities for youth and adults to experience ministry in mission outreach.  Financial aid is provided through the Mission Outreach Fund.
